Com mais de 30 anos de experi\u00eancia, concentrou-se em trabalhos de IDD&D e de projeto de t\u00faneis rodovi\u00e1rios, ferrovi\u00e1rios e de metro, com especializa\u00e7\u00e3o em ventila\u00e7\u00e3o, controlo de fumo e seguran\u00e7a. Desempenhou tamb\u00e9m pap\u00e9is importantes em organiza\u00e7\u00f5es profissionais e t\u00e9cnicas, como membro da Ordem dos Engenheiros e presidente de v\u00e1rias comiss\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas.
